Course Fees
Payment must reach us no later than 14 days in advance of the event in order to secure your booking and to meet our payment requirements. Cheques are to be made payable to MSA Training (Late payments will be subject to standard bank interest rates - calculated by date and charged daily) An additional monthly surcharge of £50.00 will be added to all late payments of over one month. Please note that we reserve the right to change our prices and our terms and conditions with reasonable notice to customers.
Open/In House Courses
Full joining/direction instructions will be sent to clients/students prior to the course start date. Good time keeping is essential and students must attend the whole course in order to meet the required criteria. If a student fails to attend any part of the course, they will not be assessed as competent and will not therefore receive a certificate.We regret that late arrivals may not be admitted onto the course. Appropriate clothing should be worn. Further students who are judged by our Instructors to be vexatious, difficult, unruly or offensive will be asked to leave and their fees will still be payable. Payment for the course place must still be made in keeping with our standard payment requirements and any later appeals against our decision will be heard through the Association of First Aiders arbitration service. If the appeal is denied a full course place refund will then be made.
At your location
The usual start time for our courses is 9.30am however we are happy to change this to suit your requirements. Please indicate your preferred start time on the booking form. Good time keeping is essential and students must attend the whole course in order to meet the required criteria. If a candidate fails to attend any part of the course they will not be assessed as competent and therefore not receive a certificate. Again full course payment will be levied by us.
Refresher Training Course
Students attending the 2 day Refresher Course must be in possession of a currently valid 3 day FAW HSE approved certificate.
Cancellations at your location course(s)
We regret that fees will be payable if notice of cancellation is received less than 10 days prior to the course start date.
Cancellations Open course(s)
We regret that fees will be payable if notice of cancellation is received less than 10 days prior to the course start date, or if the student fails to attend for whatever reason.
Reservations
Provisional telephone bookings can only be held for 7 days pending written or email confirmation. If a booking is made at short notice (less than ten days before the course) then payment must be received immediately.
Transfers
If the date of the course at your location is changed within 7 days of the start of the course, an administration charge of £100 will be incurred. If we are hosting the course at our Centre a 14 day change period is required.
Certificates
The cost of the initial certificates are included in the course fee and these will be sent to the invoice/requested address by recorded delivery. If for any reason, these should fail to be delivered, then we will endeavour to locate them. If any charges are incurred by us in this activity, these will be passed on. If they are to be sent directly to individuals, a further £10.00 per certificate will be levied. Extra copies of certificates are subject to a £5.00 administration fee (per certificate).
Note for Managers/Course bookers
We do not discriminate against anyone in line with our Equal Opportunity policy. However managers must make us aware of any health or mobiility issues that may preclude a student from taking part in any of our courses. We reserve the right to fail a student if they have been adjudged to not satisfy the physical aspects of any of our Training courses. Arrangements can be made to avoid this only by prior consultation.

MSA cannot be held responsible for any circumstances beyond our control, which affect the course date(s), content(s) or timing(s). Including cancellation or re-scheduling. If a course has to be cancelled, amended or re-scheduled for any reason MSA Training will make every reasonable effort to effect alternative arrangements. MSA Training does not accept responsibility for any accidents or misuse of training carried our by any students whilst on a course or used once they are in any home/office/work/public place/area or arena. Students carry out their training with our organisation and on our or their own premises at their own risk. Our company’s policy us one of continuous development and we reserve the right to make changes without notice.
